It was 1930 when two of Milan's most famous masters of patisserie, Agostino Panigada and Giovanni Cova, first joined forces to found a new business in Viale Monza. It was here that they started baking authentic Milanese Panettone (or "Panettun de Milan" in the local dialect). With a keenness to preserve the most artisan, traditional methods and ensure the highest quality, G. Cova & C.'s panettoni soon became the toast of the city and beyond.
